Green heart, black soil celebrates my new life here on the lush Liverpool Plains where the views across the crop filled paddocks look like a giant patchwork quilt and the big skies offer ever changing cloudscapes.

In what my husband calls ‘splendid isolation’ there’s a million possibilities for new creativity that manifests in food, fabrics, flowers and friendships.

There’s a sense of the past here in every new day, which I honour and value; it causes me to remember many of my happiest childhood memories and share them.

Green heart, black soil is about connecting and sharing this glorious part of the world with new friends near and far.
